Jennifer Wilson
Currently, a teacher in Toronto, Ontario, Jennifer Wilson holds a Masters degree in History, an Honors BA in History and Education, and an O.M.A. Certificate in Museum Studies. Her first career was in the museum field, where she worked for historical museums both in Toronto and in Windsor, Ontario. Eventually, she made her way to education, earning her teaching certificate in 1990. She has taught all subjects/ between 3rd and 8th grade for over 20 years. An artist in her own right, Ms Wilson's present assignment is teaching art to Grades 7 and 8.
Art and design are her true passions, second only to music. She also enjoys photography. Ms Wilson plays piano and guitar, composes music, and is currently studying with several professional musicians to improve in both instruments . Other interests include gardening, antique collecting and managing a small menagerie of pets including; two dogs, a cat, a chinchilla, and a rabbit!
Herself a "lifetime learner", Ms Wilson believes the opportunity to share what she's learned, both through research and personal experiences, have made membership on Suite 101 irresistible.
